Accessibility info: there are 6 steps to enter the building. There is one flight of stairs into the room where the event is. There are bathrooms on each floor. There is a bar downstairs. There is seating in both spaces. For Covid risk reduction, masks and rapid tests will be available; or we encourage you to test at home. There is no outdoor space other than the front sidewalk, and minimal ventilation. Please be mindful of medically vulnerable people, but we understand that there’s only so much we can do to reduce risk.

What to expect: Leijia left us with so many playlists. That music will be on. For a portion of the night, from 6pm-8ish Eastern, there will be time for people to say a few words. Since there are A LOT of people with A LOT to say, keep it under 1 or 2 minutes if possible. I know that sounds borderline cruel, but it’s important that everyone has a chance. If you plan on reading one of her poems, have a backup in case someone else reads it first. There will also be a projector to show pictures and videos of Leijia. add them here.
